Frequently Asked Questions
1-What are the differences between Free, Pro and Pro Plus?
Free users get access to limited chatting (25 replies per day). Pro Users get access to voice calling, AI-Generated Selfies, AI-Generated Videos, unlimited messages and all pre-set personality types. Pro Plus members get every Pro benefit plus access to uploading your own avatar/background, access to create your own personalities, and the ability to enable Three-Way Mode (Chat with 2 AI at the same time).

2-What Platforms does Lover AI currently support?
Lover AI is currently an Android-only application. An iOS version will be looked into very soon, once the Android release is stable enough. There are currently no plans to port Lover AI to any other platform.

3-What LLM (Large Language Model) does Lover AI use?
Lover AI uses a matrix of scripted AI for guidance/calibration, mixed with our very own in-house finely tuned LLM that we call GPT-Horizon. GPT-Horizon is a 30 Billion parameter LLM.

4-Does Lover AI support multi-languages?
Lover AI supports English officially, but the AI is 70% functional in other languages. Full multi-lingual support will be worked on in the next few months.

5-Does Lover AI offer monthly/weekly/free trial subscriptions?
No, Lover AI currently offers Pro and Pro Plus memberships as yearly plans. There are currently no plans to offer other subscription plans, but this can change at any time.

6-How is my Chat History handled?
We at Lover AI believe in privacy first and foremost. As such, we do not store your full chat history, only the last 150 exchanges. Your messages are NOT used to train the LLM (this is done via dataset finetuning that we create and test). There is currently no way for us to provide users with a copy of their entire chat log as it is not stored. Your chat log is encrypted using AES (Advanced Encryption Standard).

Interesting Fact*: There's a general misconception that LLMs learn in real-time by interacting with the user. This is incorrect. LLMs are static machines, they do not actively evolve. Training an LLM can only be done via dataset finetuning, and via scripting by manipulating prompt engineering (for example, the voting system).

7-Is Lover AI a mental wellness app or designed to treat depression/anxiety/etc?
No, Lover AI is a purely entertainment app. Lover AI should not be used to treat depression/anxiety/any other medical condition in any manner.

8-Does Lover AI contain nudity?
No, Lover AI does not contain nudity. App Stores do not allow nudity, as such we cannot implement nudity in any form.

9-How do I request a refund?
ALL refund request must be submitted to the appropriate App Store. We are unable to issue refunds directly from our end and our support team will be unable to assist if you contact us in reference to this.
